I’ve spent many years in behavioral health and public service, but my deepest on-the-job training has come from being a mother to my four daughters.

Watching my own children navigate the ups and downs of friendships and school life reminded me that while every child is different, the need for solid social-emotional tools is universal. I didn't want a program for them that felt like a clinical appointment; I wanted something that felt like real life.

 

As a mother to a daughter with disabilities, I’ve seen firsthand the gaps in our system. I’ve lived the frustration of searching for programs that actually "get it"—and realizing that for many families, there just isn't enough out there.

 

Why I Started NSBE:

 

I founded this business to give local families a direct, practical resource for growth. My work is fueled by my background in Psychology and Child Development, but it's inspired by the everyday reality of raising kids in a complicated world.

What We Focus On: We skip the "corporate-speak" and get straight to the skills that matter. In our six-week curriculum, your child will work on:

• Confidence in Connection: Learning how to enter a social group with ease.

• Emotional Resilience: Managing big feelings before they become big problems.

• Genuine Friendship: Building bonds based on mutual respect and communication.

At the end of the day, I’m a parent just like you. I know you want your child to feel seen, supported, and capable. That is exactly what we do here.
